Barça to Host Inaugural Match at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend

Barça revealed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Basque side in La Liga two and a half years after they moved out for construction to commence.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans can be present as per the current authorization. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel and new dressing rooms.

Stadium Testing

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou earlier this month. Officials stated they are seeking authorization by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side in December at Camp Nou. Previous fixtures took place in the temporary ground.
