An Australian man who jumped across a fence and grabbed Hollywood star Ariana Grande has been deported and banned from Singapore.

The man, twenty-six, was sentenced to nine days in detention for being a public nuisance and has now been "banned from entering the country again," the country's border control told local media.

Wen pushed beyond security and rushed toward the actress and singer, who was attending the Asian premier for the film on November 13. Co-star Cynthia Erivo pulled him back from Grande.

The individual has a record of causing disturbances at events and star-studded occasions, including jumping on stage at the pop star's Australian show in this summer.

The incident caused anger in Singapore, with several individuals accusing him of triggering past trauma for the singer.

The singer has mentioned suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at her show in the UK city in spring of 2017 resulted in the deaths of 22 people and hurt numerous attendees.

During Wen's trial, the court heard he had attempted to intrude on the film's premiere twice, according to local news sources.

He then made a another effort to breach security. Protection personnel intercepted him and restrained him.

Wen later posted video clips appreciating the celebrity for allowing his presence and said he was "released."

Police took him into custody the subsequent day and accused him with disorderly conduct, to which Wen pleaded guilty.

The Presiding Judge the judicial official was cited by Channel News Asia as stating that the man sought attention, adding that he was wrong to think he would not suffer any consequences.

The singer has not commented on the incident.

Erivo mentioned the situation to NBC, saying that she "just wanted to make sure my colleague was safe."

"I believe he didn't mean us danger, but you can't predict with such situations, and I sought to make sure that she was OK. That was my initial reaction," she stated.
